Only 15 hours left in the Lilly Pulitzer Sale. Some of the clothes are a little too feminine and colorful for my taste but I did pick out some items I can see mixing in my closet.
Is there a theme here? Not one for bright greens, pinks or purples. I can definitely see myself saving those summer dresses for next year and mixing up this beautiful blouse with some edgy fall pieces in my closet. This gold clutch would make a great make up bag. I am in DESPERATE need of a new makeup bag as I’m currently carrying around my essentials in a zip lock bag right now! Know of any cute ones around the web?

Where have I been?! I was in Whitecourt, AB for two nights with my man. We hadn’t seen each other for over a month so it was nice to spend some alone time with him even though it was short lived. We reconnected over wine, went swimming in the MacLeod River and binge watched Orange is the New Black at night’s.
Sticky Vegan Brownies
- 1/2c Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2c Brown Sugar
- 2tbs Cocoa Powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/4tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2c Chocolate Chips
- Half of an Avocado
- 1tsp Vanilla
- 1/4c Almond (or soy) Milk
- Handful of Almonds (optional)
Add all dry ingredients into a bowl, minus chocolate chips. Add all wet ingredients in separate bowl and mash together. Add wet to the dry and stir until creamy then add in the chocolate chips and stir until combined. Pour into a greased 8×8 pan and top with nuts, more chocolate or whatever you like! Bake at 250 for 20-25 minutes or until edges are hard. Let cool for 30 minutes and enjoy!
It is really hot in my house so after cutting my brownie up into squares I put them in a plastic freezer bag and kept them in there… not for very long as they were eaten up pretty fast!

My favourite picks from some of the designers featured at Miami Swim Fashion Week.
A columbian luxury swimwear line that uses vibrant colours and patterns. I am loving all their coverups and dresses. Wishing I was somewhere tropical right now!
Creamy Avocado Pasta
- Gluten Free Pasta
- 1 Avocado
- Basil (Fresh or Dried)
- Minced Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Salt & Pepper
Boil water and cook pasta for 8-10 minutes. Add avocado, garlic, basil and seasonings to magic bullet or blender for a few seconds. Add in olive oil and blend until creamy. Once the pasta is done to your liking put it on a plate or in a bowl, add a dollop of avocado cream, tomatoes and whatever other toppings you like! I added blue cheese on mine too and it was delicious.
This recipe is so quick and easy and can be made in a large batch for a family or small batch for one!

I LOVE me some baths! Like looooooove that quiet me time! I let the water run, usually too hot, load it up with bubbles and epsom salts. I pour myself a cup of coffee or sometimes a glass of wine depending on what time of the day it is. Then I bring in a current book I am reading or my laptop to catch up on TV shows or movies. However putting your computer on a towel on the toilet and your glass on the floor isn’t as luxurious or comfortable…
Introducing the bath shelf!
Now these images are ones I have seen on Pinterest and Google Image Search. I mentioned to my man how much I would love to have one and what does he do?! He surprises me with one he made himself! Oh how I love when he does manly, romantic things like that!
All mine 🙂 Time to hop in the tub!
