I dyed my hair… out of a box. I have not done this since I was in Grade 8. But I was desperate. My roots were coming in, my highlights were fading and I was stuck at work, living in a remote location 80 kilometers from any sort of hair salon. I always get a professional dye job because I have heard how bad box dyes are for you hair but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do sometimes! I decided to go with the L’oreal Paris Preference Mousse that I had seen about online. I asked another blogger a few questions, cashed in $15 and went for it. Here are my results…
Have you guys been seeing this health trend everywhere? I first started drinking ACV a couple months ago because I read online that it can clear up your skin. I struggle with acne flare ups all the time, more so now than when I was a teenager going through puberty. Talk about frustrating!
Where have I been?! I was in Whitecourt, AB for two nights with my man. We hadn’t seen each other for over a month so it was nice to spend some alone time with him even though it was short lived. We reconnected over wine, went swimming in the MacLeod River and binge watched Orange is the New Black at night’s.

It is really hot in my house so after cutting my brownie up into squares I put them in a plastic freezer bag and kept them in there… not for very long as they were eaten up pretty fast!

Fried Egg Open Face Sandwich
I had a bit of leftover mixed green salad in the fridge so I fried that with a tomato slice and an egg. Made toast and piled on a piece of cheese, salad, fried tomato, fried egg and dashed on some salt and pepper! That’s it, that’s all.
I recently came across and article that completely fit my current life situation. I felt like the universe was sending me a signal that I wasn’t even full aware that I needed.
My favourite picks from some of the designers featured at Miami Swim Fashion Week.
